Also Thomas' sister Ellen, she was 'out of situation', occupation Cook. 1891 living at 164 Rolls Road, Southwark with parents Thomas & Jane with siblings James, John, Mark Russell, Sarah A & William. Also Thomas' sister Ellen. Before her death Ellen had lived at 12 Jardin Street, Camberwell, which was the address of her mother in law Clara Spaughton before her death in 1919; it would appear to have been a family-owned house. Ellen was buried with her husband in Camberwell New Cemetery on 08/06/1935

Around 1905 Jane was working as a nursemaid for her sister Ellen Spaughton and her family, emigrating to the U.S. with her husband shortly after this.
