William J. Busby Jr.

William J. Busby Jr., 62, of Swiss, Nicholas County, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, in Montgomery General Hospital.

Born July 8, 1944, at Montgomery, he was the son of the late William J. and Martha Alice Coleman Busby.

He was a disabled carpenter in the building construction industry, a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Hico, and a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving: sons and their wives, Eric C. and Christine Montgomery of Swiss and Joseph ?Jay? and Tiffany Montgomery of Mount Lookout; daughter, Pamela Montgomery of Maysel; sisters and their husbands, Susan M. and Bob Burdette of Charlton Heights and Carol S. and Andrew Porada of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brothers and their wives, John E. and Jane Busby of Morgantown and Wesley T. and Janis Busby of Wooster, Ohio; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Hico, with Minister Thomas W. McClung officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Stone-Coleman Cemetery, Lizemores.

Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, is in charge of arrangements for William J. Busby Jr.
